Abstract

Heat transfer can be improved with the help of some direct or indirect approach of improvement of heat transfer rate in a heat exchanger as it plays a essential role in several mechanical equipments where heat generation happen. Whenever there are some external techniques used to enhance the heat exchange, the simple natural heat exchanger is converted into augmented forced heat exchanger. The intention to present this paper is to study the effect of twisted strip on heat transfer rate by forced convection which is useful in design and analysis of heat exchangers
