Abstract
The management of patients with cirrhosis of the liver is extremely relevant at the present time. The prevalence of liver cirrhosis in Uzbekistan is about 1%. Cirrhosis of the liver is one of the six main causes of death at the age of 35-60 years. This article describes the causes, principles of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cirrhosis of the liver.
